The GPS Platform Transformation drives innovation across the Global Products & Solutions (GPS) platform to enable sustainable growth through cutting-edge technology. Our focus is on delivering maximum value at optimal cost, while ensuring platform health, performance, and reliability.
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Client Relationship Management (CRM) expertise, solid understanding of business and partner relationships and designing relevant data models. The role focuses on translating business needs into practical technology solutions, bridging business needs and technology solutions within the sales and trading environment.
The GPS Platform Transformation Client Relationship Management Business Analyst reports to Head of Sales Platform.
Key features of the position
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, analyse, and document business requirements, ensuring they align with strategic objectives.
Review existing business processes to spot gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and recommend practical, measurable improvements.
Convert business needs into clear delivery artefacts such as business requirement documents, user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria, and decision logs.
Document end-to-end user journeys, supporting architecture, product owners and software development teams.
Maintain requirements traceability, manage controlled change processes, and ensure alignment from discovery to delivery.
CRM & Sales Applications
Produce end-to-end solution documents, implementation blueprints and documents. Work closely with architects and SMEs to define strategic and scalable solutions.
Improve accuracy, consistency, and usability of client and relationship information across Sales processes including a deep expertise in business and partner relationships and relevant checks.
Align with data stakeholders on definitions, ownership, stewardship, quality controls, and lineage for critical client data.
Support the development of the target operating model for how client information is created, maintained, governed, and used.
Support API integration work, including design and implementation of scalable integration patterns to enhance the API ecosystem. and supporting business growth.

Skills requirements of the position
Personal & social
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Communicate clearly with stakeholders, technology teams, and control functions.
Influence decisions without formal authority and navigate complex organisations and decision paths.
Apply sound judgement in a controlled environment; raise risks and issues early and appropriately.
Work effectively across functions, cultures and distributed teams.
Remain focused on delivery despite ambiguity, changing priorities, or tight timelines.
Demonstrate experience working with an Agile delivery team and contributing to collaborative ways of working.
Show a strong team-first mindset and motivation to go the extra mile to achieve shared goals.
Professional & technical
7+ years of experience in a business analysis or equivalent role; banking experience preferred.
Strong understanding of CRM platforms, including platform requirements, workflow design, and usage within front-office or client-coverage teams. Knowledge of Structured Products and trading workflows is beneficial.
Proficient in API-based integrations (e.g., Fix, Https, REST), including understanding of data exchange patterns across internal and external systems.
Proven ability to manage and oversee data governance activities, such as defining data rules, ensuring data quality, and establishing clear ownership and lineage.
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with the ability to present concise, actionable solutions.
