Motional seeks a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer for Defense Operations to enhance security, conduct incident response, and optimize cybersecurity practices across teams.

Design and build internal developer platforms, backend services, CI/CD pipelines, and toolchains to improve developer productivity. Partner with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks, enhance reliability, scalability, observability, and contribute to system architecture and roadmaps.

Design and implement production-ready motion planning algorithms and scalable software for autonomous vehicles. Lead system-level architecture, define multi-quarter technical roadmaps, mentor engineers, coordinate across prediction/behavior/tracking teams, and drive on-road reliability, testing, and CI-driven development.

Lead architecture and implementation of low-latency, reliable vehicle-to-cloud data pipelines and in-vehicle software. Own system requirements, mentor engineers, run code reviews, and collaborate across product, cloud, test, and operations to deploy telemetry, remote control, and passenger-facing features.

Lead the development of advanced perception algorithms for autonomous vehicles, optimize real-time performance, mentor junior engineers, and integrate systems.

The intern will conduct research on driving behavior, collaborate across teams, utilize large datasets, and publish results related to Machine Learning.

The Senior Software Engineer will enhance developer productivity by building and refining internal services, improve system performance and reliability, and manage complex infrastructure platforms.

Develop, prototype, evaluate, and productionize ML models for autonomous vehicle behavior and agent prediction. Collaborate with researchers and engineers, deploy models to fleets, mentor teammates, and iterate on solutions for safe, comfortable driving.

Lead the Map Semantics team in developing ML models for self-driving vehicles, manage engineering projects, and communicate progress to leadership.

Support design and evaluation of end-to-end perception-to-planning models for autonomous driving. Work with multi-modal sensor data (images, video, LiDAR, radar, point clouds), run experiments, benchmark models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate outputs into decision-making systems. Document results reproducibly.

The role involves leading the ML Acceleration team, driving strategies for optimizing ML model training, recruiting and mentoring engineers, and collaborating across teams.

The ML Systems Engineer will optimize distributed training systems, develop high-performance GPU kernels, and ensure efficient data pipelines for machine learning models.

The Senior Software Engineer will own the CDE platform, architect AI agents for ML workflows, and collaborate with ML Engineers to enhance productivity.

Lead the architecture and engineering excellence for Motional's Platform & Applications, focusing on software systems for autonomous vehicles and overseeing global engineering standards.
