Operate and monitor a commodity trading and B2B commerce platform during Asian trading hours. Provide real-time participant support, facilitate trades, monitor volatility controls, escalate suspicious activity, and coordinate London handovers. Build relationships with Asian commodity market participants, deliver platform demonstrations and training, gather market intelligence, and support UAT, release testing, defect logging, and rollout verification for platform upgrades.

Collect and assess pricing data for ferrous and non-ferrous metals recycling markets, produce price assessments and market commentary, build industry contacts, peer-review prices, support colleagues' pricing patches, engage with the market through events and webinars, and follow company and IOSCO pricing methodologies.

Provide L2 on-site and remote deskside support across Windows and macOS, Microsoft 365 and endpoint tooling. Manage device provisioning, lifecycle activities, AV/meeting-room troubleshooting, printer/peripheral support, basic network checks, ticket triage/escalation, asset management, and documentation to ensure timely resolution and strong user experience.

The Strategic Industry Expert in Metals will engage with senior stakeholders to drive growth, deliver insights, and enhance Fastmarkets' offerings in the Asian and Middle Eastern market for metals and mining commodities.
