Supports Ampol’s CTRM transformation program across technology delivery, business process, change, training, and governance workstreams. Responsibilities include tracking milestones, maintaining documentation and action registers, coordinating meetings, preparing status reports, improving workflows, maintaining dashboards, analyzing project data, supporting stakeholder communications, and assisting with training materials. The intern will gain exposure to trading, risk, finance systems, project delivery, data, AI, and automation.

Prepare, review and negotiate sale and purchase contracts for crude and petroleum products; manage contract paperwork, mitigate legal and commercial risk, improve processes, mentor team members, and support trading, shipping and legal teams on disputes and continuous improvement.

Support end-to-end settlement activities for physical commodity trades, including purchase and sales invoicing, accounts receivable and payable processing, cash application, payment coordination, reconciliations, exception resolution, and month-end close. Review trade documentation, freight and demurrage costs, maintain settlement trackers, coordinate with trading and treasury teams, and ensure compliance with internal controls, contractual requirements, and audit standards.
