Responsibilities include system support, enhancements, bug fixes, server health checks, project documentation, computer system validation, investigations, GMP/HSE compliance, and smart manufacturing initiatives. The role also involves automation, PLC, database, programming, infrastructure, and network troubleshooting while collaborating with site, regional, and global teams.

Provides autonomous legal support for Alcon’s Asia manufacturing and technical operations, including commercial agreements, supplier disputes, procurement, quality, regulatory compliance, facilities, and technology-transfer matters. Partners with regional and global teams, manages litigation and regulatory inquiries, coordinates external counsel, and supports strategic initiatives such as supply resilience, product launches, and manufacturing footprint optimization.

Leads IT business systems analysts and oversees technology solution delivery, project execution, resource allocation, and system design. Manages manufacturing IT and OT systems, ensuring stability, continuity, validated operation, compliance, and minimal disruption. Oversees incident, problem, change, patch, capacity, lifecycle, crisis, data consistency, and gap assessment activities. Partners with business leaders, mentors analysts, recommends technology improvements, and ensures adherence to GxP, CSV, CFR Part 11, security, and quality requirements.

Provides engineering support for manufacturing automation and control systems, including application administration, enhancements, validation, troubleshooting, reporting tools, PLCs, industrial PCs, and system health checks. Leads automation projects, maintains SOP and regulatory compliance, supports NCR investigations and equipment downtime, and coordinates with vendors and internal teams. Requires rotational 24/7 support.

Develop and deploy AI/ML, predictive analytics, statistical models, MLOps pipelines, manufacturing intelligence frameworks, and executive dashboards using manufacturing, quality, maintenance, supply chain, MES, and SCADA data. The role identifies process optimization opportunities and improves quality, productivity, reliability, yield, throughput, and cost performance across global manufacturing sites while ensuring GxP, cybersecurity, validation, and data governance compliance.

Supports manufacturing process control, process and product improvements, yield improvement projects, data trending, statistical analysis, investigations, qualification activities, and technology transfers. The role monitors critical process and product parameters, identifies process capability issues and trends, develops reports, supports equipment technology implementation, manages change requests, and coordinates cross-functional manufacturing projects in a regulated environment.

Leads procurement and strategic sourcing for Alcon manufacturing sites in Singapore and Johor. Oversees category strategies, cost reduction, supplier performance, contract coverage, risk mitigation, budgeting, compliance, and procurement governance across chemicals, packaging, CAPEX/MRO, and general services. Partners with site leadership, Operations, MS&T, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Global Procurement while building and developing a high-performing local procurement team.
