SixSense, a Singaporean AI startup focused on improving semiconductor manufacturing, has raised $8.5 million in a new funding round led by Peak XV’s Surge, with participation from Alpha Intelligence Capital, Febe Ventures and others.
According to a news release, SixSense uses AI to turn raw production data into real-time insights, helping engineers catch early warning signs of quality issues so factories can produce more good chips from the same lines to meet rising demand.
“Unlike traditional AI tools, SixSense is hardware-agnostic, explainable and built for engineers — not data scientists. Process engineers can fine-tune models using their own fab data, deploy them in under two days and trust the results — all without writing a single line of code. That’s what makes the platform both powerful and practical,” SixSense’s Avni Agarwal said in a statement.
SixSense plans to use the funding to scale its technology and continue improving its platform for customers such as GlobalFoundries and JCET.
