Cloud computing provides software and IT services by digitally storing them in a remote “cloud,” a virtual storage space that can be concurrently accessed by multiple users. Cloud is the increasingly standard mode of providing IT services, using online servers to host, store and manage data, thereby freeing users and businesses from the burden of having to store software and data on their own servers.

Singapore is going all in on cloud computing and the country’s public cloud market has grown due, in part, to the increased adoption of digital technologies and a growing awareness of cloud’s role in data security. With the rise of remote work and digital transformation around the world, these companies are poised to lead the way in Singapore.
