Capgemini to Boost Cloud Managed Service Offerings With Cloud4C Acquistion

Multinational consulting and digital transformation company Capgemini has announced an agreement to acquire Singapore-based Cloud4C. The move is expected to help expand Capgemini’s footprint in the cloud managed services market.

Through its team of 1,600 employees and AI-ready platform, Cloud4C works with client organizations to develop and implement cloud strategies and deliver hybrid cloud solutions for sovereignty. Its end-to-end offerings extend to areas including process automation, data loss prevention and business continuity. With the acquisition, Capgemini plans to advance development of industry-specific packaged frameworks, intellectual property and generative AI solutions to streamline cloud management and migrations.

“Cloud4C has an impressive track record in large-scale cloud transformations, thanks to its cutting-edge, highly automated AI platform and processes,” Capgemini CEO Aiman Ezzat said in a statement. “Its status as a global premium partner of RISE with SAP makes it a natural fit for Capgemini as we have been a strategic partner with SAP for decades. This acquisition will enable the Group to champion gen AI-powered cloud automation platforms, coupled with scalable industry-specific solutions that we know our clients want and need across the world.”
