Position Summary
Leads quality control tests and analysis of outcomes in a software development life cycle to ensure technology solutions meet or exceed business and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Define, develop, and implement non-functional testing strategies and plans.
Assist in identifying and implementing suitable testing tools, frameworks, and techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the system architecture, and non-functional requirements.
Conduct performance, load, stress, and failover testing.
Generate none-functional test results, interpret results, identify problem areas, and highlight the problems to technical and business stakeholders.
Ensure issues and risks are communicated to relevant stakeholders promptly.
Provide requirements and support for infrastructure, system configuration, and network operations to setup environments for effective testing.
Review the performance test scripts created or modified by peers to ensure compliance with standards.
Work with delivery teams to drive the none-functional and performance test optimizations.
Research new ways of non-functional and performance testing and recommend system configuration and tuning improvements based on observations.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
ISTQB Core Advanced Certified or equivalent
Exhibits good knowledge in software quality assurance processes and methodologies.
5+ years of experience in None-functional and performance testing with minimum of 2+ experience in leading such team.
Familiar with Python, Perl, or Bash scripting.
Strong understanding of the Infrastructure, Network, Database and resiliency concepts
Hands-on experience in load, stress analysis tools to model performance scenarios and analyze scenarios.
Experience in Linux & Windows Operating Systems.
Knowledge in Linux systems administration is a plus.
