Manager / Senior Manager – FX Trading Product & Operations

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager / Senior Manager to run the FX operations and product workflow within our Global Markets team. The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end FX product pipeline, optimise execution and upstream connectivity, enhance operational processes, and ensure robust day-to-day running of all FX trading systems.

This role requires deep hands-on experience in FX brokerage operations, strong product and technical knowledge, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams across Technology, Risk, Compliance, Liquidity Providers (LPs), and external vendors.

Responsibilities

FX Product & Pipeline Ownership

  • Lead the full lifecycle of the FX product pipeline from solution design, requirements gathering, UAT, rollout, to post-launch monitoring.
  • Evaluate and introduce new FX products, instruments, and features based on client demand and competitive analysis.
  • Coordinate closely with Technology and Product teams to prioritise enhancements, manage delivery timelines, and ensure system stability.

FX Desk Operations & Execution Support

  • Understanding of Hedging or Delta Neutral Strategies
  • Oversee daily FX operations including trade execution flow, order routing, pricing feeds, LP management, and trade settlement accuracy.
  • Manage platform performance across MT5, PrimeXM, OZ Hub, and other execution gateways.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and act as the subject-matter expert (SME) for FX trading systems.

Upstream Connectivity & Liquidity Management

  • Optimise and manage upstream integrations with LPs, including Straits Financial, Finalto, and any new counterparties.
  • Work with technology teams to enhance FIX protocol connectivity, pricing robustness, and execution quality.
  • Support credit line structures and OTC trade workflows; ensure proper hedging, risk coverage, and settlement processes.

Process Improvement & Risk Controls

  • Review existing workflows and implement enhancements for operational efficiency, risk management, and error reduction.
  • Build SOPs for order execution, pricing, EOD reporting, monitoring, and incident escalation.
  • Strengthen internal controls for FX trading, including reconciliation, trade breaks management, and audit preparedness.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work with Compliance & Legal to ensure regulatory adherence (e.g., MAS FX rules, reporting, best execution).
  • Liaise with vendors, upstream liquidity and data providers.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in brokerage/bank on FX operations, trading support, or FX product management.
  • Proven experience managing or supporting an FX desk in a fast-paced brokerage/bank, CFD/FX firm, or trading environment.
  • Direct knowledge of OTC FX workflows and credit-based execution models is preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Hands-on experience with:
    • MT5 administration or support
    • PrimeXM (XCore), OZ Hub, or similar liquidity bridge systems
    • FIX protocol: understanding of FIX messaging, connectivity, trade execution flows
  • Understanding of order types, margining, swaps, spreads, and risk management concepts.

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
