Job Description

We’re looking for a highly driven and motivated Manager, Account Management for our Marketplace team in Malaysia. If you are looking for a place where you can gain hands-on exposure and have a direct impact, then this is the place for you! The ideal candidate will have a track record as a significant individual contributor – comfortable working independently, whilst working closely with the management team. 

This role will be based in Singapore and will report to the Account Management Lead.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and expand relationships with existing clients and proactively identify further new business opportunities
  • Achieve and exceed on monthly KPIs
  • Maintain and grow the revenue and gross profit of each account
  • Keep the platform fresh by implementing creative marketing initiatives
  • Construct and negotiate commercial offers which meet expectations of foodpanda, business partners and customers
  • Work with internal support functions to ensure that every deal that goes live on the platform meets quality standards
  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of the foodpanda business model and the online food ordering market
  • Use and create management reports to assess performance of vendors
  • Prepare weekly/monthly financial & performance reports for internal and external review

Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience within an Account Management role preferable
  • Proven track record of Account Management or Territory Sales with B2B sales experience, preferably in eCommerce for FMCG brands
  • Excellent communication skills, must have a consultative sales approach and be a strong persuader and influencer
  • Strong relationship builder, has a positive attitude and is a team player
  • Highly driven, self-motivated, target oriented, resilient and tenacious
  • Customer focused, enjoys working autonomously, hits the ground running and demonstrates a willingness to learn
  • Strong analytical skills, makes well judged decisions, good numeracy, pays strong attention to detail, is a strong problem solver, demonstrates good commercial awareness and thinks outside the box to generate new ideas
  • Has a flexible approach, thrives under pressure and enjoys working in a fast paced environment
  • Highly organised and plans and prioritizes work effectively
