The Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions (FTIS) team is seeking an Intern to work directly with our portfolio management team in Singapore. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all facets of macro and multi-asset investing, working on projects that span research, data analysis, AI-driven solutions, and trade idea generation. Strong interest in macro is a must. The full time Internship will last for up to 35 weeks from January 2026 onwards.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position?
Assist in collecting, classifying, and analyzing financial and economic data
Conduct independent research projects on macroeconomic and market topics
Build and enhance market monitors, reports, and trade tracking tools
Develop and implement AI-driven applications to enhance portfolio management workflows
Collaborate with teams across investments, engineering, data, and infrastructure on technology-driven projects
To assist in operational and administrative matters of the team
What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?
Strong interest in macro markets and multi-asset investing
Proficiency in Python a plus
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills
Ability to communicate clearly and present findings effectively
Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and a strong team player
