Role Overview
The Integration Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying robust data integrations between our core customer platforms. This role will build and maintain seamless connectivity connecting Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud with SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C), utilizing SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) to ensure secure, scalable, and real-time data synchronization across the enterprise architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain integration flows (iFlows) connecting Salesforce and SAP ecosystems using SAP CPI.
- Implement secure data exchange and authentication mechanisms between Salesforce Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and SAP C4C.
- Map complex data structures and business processes across platforms to ensure data integrity and synchronization.
- Ensure secure API communication, token handling, and optimized high-volume data ingestion.
- Support error handling, system monitoring, and real-time event processing across all integration touchpoints.
- Collaborate with Salesforce architects, SAP functional consultants, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable technical solutions.
- Participate in end-to-end testing, deployment, and post-launch support for the integration architecture.
Requirements
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in system integration, middleware development, or a similar technical role
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages used in integration (e.g., Groovy or JavaScript) and handling data formats (JSON, XML)
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying integration flows within SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) / SAP Integration Suite
Experience Working With
- SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) and SAP C4C (Cloud for Customer) APIs.
- Salesforce Data Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration points and data models.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Understanding of OAuth 2.0, token-based authentication, and certificate management.
- Familiarity with Git version control and deployment pipelines for middleware.
