About the Role

As an embedded YouTube Creator Marketing Manager, you’ll be tasked with shaping the strategy for in-product and email communications to YouTube creators around the world. We are looking for a skilled lifecycle marketer, who understands the impact of levers and foundations of growth marketing. This person must also be detail-oriented and process-minded, with core skills in not only campaign creation, but project management, analytics, and communication. This person must work seamlessly with the marketing team and key cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. Growth Platforms, Product, Eng, Legal, etc) across multiple continents, and own creation of core documents like creative briefs, user journey maps, and workbacks.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive campaign strategy, campaign creation and execution, including campaign briefs and proposals, lead content and creative development, creating campaign and program workback, and ensuring deliverables stay on track.  
  • Design, execute, and analyze results on experiments across campaigns/channels to identify key levers of growth and scale. Create campaign and program performance recaps and summaries. 
  • Develop and draft program artifacts, including documents, slides, email updates, and journey maps.
  • Manage program launch execution, including communicating with cross-functional stakeholders, including overseeing creative development and review, securing approvals, and sending out updates.
  • Function as the primary liaison between the creative agency (Monks) and client (YouTube); proactively connect the dots across multiple teams and support process improvements and campaign optimizations. 
  • Maintain constantly changing project priorities, timelines, feedback, and deliverables, with proactive communication across teams.
  • Look beyond the day-to-day needs of campaign execution, to ensure the use of effective processes across teams.
About YouThe essentials:
  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing/ CRM / lifecycle marketing 
  • Experience analyzing marketing campaign performance and experiment impact.
  • Project management and organizationals skills, including ability to synthesize data to see the big picture while keen to details.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally and adjust messaging as needed for different audiences.
  • Solution oriented person; has experience working effectively with limited oversight
  • Fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities, with a natural aptitude for collaboration. 
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, navigating uncertainty and prioritizing when needed.
Not a must, but a plus:
  • Passion for YouTube Creators and understanding of the Creator Ecosystem and YouTube’s role in it.
  • Hands-on experience using marketing platforms (recommendation engines, paid media, email, notifications).
  • Foundational knowledge of statistics, hypothesis testing, experiment design, and exploratory data analysis.
  • Experience with paid incentive programs
  • Agency and/or tech experience

This role is subject to our Return to Office (RTO) policy. If you reside within a commutable distance of one of our office locations, you will be expected to work from the office a set number of days per week. The specific details, including the number of required office days, will be in accordance with the company’s then-current RTO policy, which is subject to change from time to time.

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Salary Range
$85,000$95,000 CAD
